Featured Product
Xilinx (now a part of AMD) is the inventor of the FPGA, programmable SoCs, and now, the ACAP. Xilinx designs have been essential to aerospace & defense missions for over 30 years. AMD Xilinx programmable products offer flexible solutions that support the complexity of evolving technology in military and aerospace applications.
Xilinx® solutions enable Smarter Systems through the industry’s broadest lineup of All Programmable FPGAs, 3D ICs, SoCs and ACAPs that set the standard for the low cost, highest performance, and lowest power.
AMD New Space Solutions
AMD offers scalable solutions to cover New Space applications. The ability to deliver qualified, off-the-shelf devices can help maximize time-to-market, and makes AMD a perfect choice for New Space designs.
AMD radiation-hardened (RH) and radiation-tolerant (RT), reconfigurable FPGAs and adaptive SoCs give designers robust, qualified devices that can meet the performance, reliability, and lifecycle demands of space. AMD performs and reports extensive radiation characterization, including total ionizing dose (TID) and single event effects (SEE) in proton and heavy ion environments.

Product News
AMD is extending the lifecycles on all AMD 7 Series devices to 2040 and UltraScale+ devices to 2045.
While AMD plans for a minimum lifecycle of 15 years for new device families, both AMD 7 Series and UltraScale+ FPGAs and adaptive SoCs continue to deliver excellent value and capabilities for new designs. And for designs requiring high levels of performance and integration, AMD Versal adaptive SoCs will be available even longer, to 2045 and beyond.
With this lifecycle extension, select AMD devices will be available for a total of 28 years from the time of launch. That’s a long time. In some cases, it’s long enough for the next generation of designers to inherit the redesign.
What does that mean for you? With 18 total families and >150 unique devices in production through 2040 and longer, there has never been a better time to build products that last.
