Position Overview:

The Test Engineer will develop complete test solutions for functional and accelerated testing of EEE components, semiconductors, and circuit card assemblies. They are a key member of the team taking customer requirements and translating them into PCB design, test hardware configuration, and the code to tie it all together. The Test Engineer must have experience with a wide variety of components, test requirements, and testing environments to meet the requirements of Spirit’s diverse customer base for military and aerospace applications. The Test Engineer will develop testing utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, etc., for a variety of requirements from continuity to burn-in to advanced ASIC functional testing.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design and build end-to-end test solutions, including fixtures, test boards, test hardware, and programming
  • Bring ideas from concept to finished PCB, with schematic capture, PCB layout, test, and debug
  • Create controlled tests from concept to writing test code and debugging
  • Design voltage biasing and current monitoring test boards, test equipment, and code
  • Program and set up burn-in drivers and develop test BI boards
  • Design and develop bench test setups, including boards, test hardware, and test code
  • Manage test development schedules and ensure the test solution meets customer schedules
  • Ensure test flows and processes maintain ESD controls and traveler compliance in the lab
  • Own workflows, processes, resources, and engineering for Spirit’s in-house test lab
  • Collaborate with Quality to plan, implement, and monitor SOPs and calibration in accordance with AS9100, ISO9001, and other standards
  • Drive operational improvements to support business growth while prioritizing projects and resources
  • Create final test reports detailing data, results, conclusions, and recommendations to the customer
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding test results and methodologies
  • Stay current with industry standards, especially MIL-STD and relevant specifications

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in electronic component testing
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field
  • Advanced degrees or technical certifications are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MIL-STD testing requirements and procedures
  • Familiarity with various types of testing equipment (ex: oscilloscopes, network analyzers, environmental chambers, etc.)
  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics and failure mechanisms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and data
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and customers

Position Overview:

The Technical Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving sales growth and expansion for Spirit’s engineering services and technical business units. This position combines technical expertise with sales acumen to effectively promote and sell Spirit’s engineering services, MIL-STD testing, foundry services, and assembly solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between Spirit and our customers, translating complex technical information into clear value propositions and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. The Technical Sales Representative will support customer relationships in coordination with the Account Representatives on the Corporate Sales team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand Spirit’s market presence
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and tours to showcase Spirit’s value-add and engineering services capabilities, including foundry services, MIL-STD testing, and circuit card assembly
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, account representatives, program managers) to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotations, and technical specifications
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales cycle and beyond
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to effective position our products and services
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote Spirit and generate leads
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and report on sales activities, opportunities, and results

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MIL-STD testing procedures and requirements
  • Familiarity with supply chain logistics and inventory management concepts in the context of aerospace and defense manufacturing

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B or government sales environment

Position Overview:

The Account Representative is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers in the aerospace and defense industry. This role focuses on selling Spirit’s range of microelectronics, semiconductors, and EEE products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background as well as technical knowledge. The Account Representative will manage and increase customer sales through contact with customers and buyers while nurturing business relationships initiated at the executive and senior sales level. The Account Representative will collaborate with technical sales and purchasing teams to prepare quotes, manage sales order, and facilitate the order fulfillment process. This position also functions as a liaison between Spirit’s customers and OEMs. Technical competency; accuracy; attention to detail regarding part numbers, drawings, contracts; and MS Excel skills are mandatory.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers
  • Develop and implement account strategies to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer needs, challenges, and future requirements
  • Present and promote Spirit’s customer solutions, line card, and engineering services to customers

Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role supporting the execution of engineering projects at Spirit. This position acts as a liaison between company departments i.e. engineering, technical sales, inside sales, etc. to ensure smooth project progression, project quality, and on-time delivery. The Project Coordinator must have strong organizational skills and project management skills. The Project Coordinator supports service operations and fulfillment in Spirit’s lab and circuit card assembly line, including testing and qualification, wafer processing, and assembly projects.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist internal departments in planning, executing, and closing engineering projects
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure on-time meet customer deadlines
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, data, and deliverables
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
  • Develop and update project schedules
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings and communication
  • Monitor project expenses and budget utilization, flagging any discrepancies or concerns
  • Assist in preparation of status reports for management and stakeholders
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners or customers
  • Manage project-related administrative tasks, including maintaining files and databases
  • Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer requirements
  • Advise management on status of work in process, material availability, and potential production problems to meet delivery timelines

Requirements:

  • Associates/HS Degree will suffice if there is 6+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or related supply chain manufacturing role
  • Experience in material planning, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of electronic component distribution and supply chain management operations
  • Strategic planning foresight and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specs, drawings, and requirements for microelectronics, semiconductors, and EEE components

This position ensures compliance with aerospace industry requirements while driving continuous improvement in quality processes.
